Business Blogging – Building Visibility Online with Michelle Shaeffer

Lots of authors and entrepreneurs see the value in blogging and have the best of intentions in starting a blog but quickly give up or it slips to the bottom of their ‘to do’ list.  Blogging is an awesome way to build your platform and attract an audience for your writing or services.  So it’s well worth your time and energy to make it work.

First you need to figure out where blogging fits into your plan and how it will help you.  Next, have a solid plan for creating and distributing your content.  In order to create a plan you need to think strategically, starting with what’s happening in your business and then looking at the problems your clients need solving.  Once you’ve got great content, the next thing to do is gain visibility for your blog and blog posts.  You’ve got to get out there and let people know about your blog.
