Do you have a product and/or service, or expertise that our listeners (women in leadership -both in corporate and in business) should know about?
Just a quick recap of our audience:
- Micro Businesses
- Small Businesses
- Home-based Businesses
Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions we receive from potential guests. Make sure you read through these questions before you contact us, to ensure you know what is expected.
What is important is that you bring your message to our audience in an inspiring, helpful manner so that our listeners are able to increase their knowledge and awareness about your specific business-related topic.
The technology and equipment you will need access to on the day of the interview is:
- A computer with fast internet connectivity
- A headset with a microphone (preferably with a mic filter to stop the popping sound. We use a relatively inexpensive Logitech). Please ensure that your mic plugs into your computer and is not wireless. Wireless mics tend to distort the sound
- A quiet setting, preferably with the ability to close the door to minimise echoes.
Remember, we want to make you sound as good as possible so it’s important you have access to the right equipment.
We will also send you a Sound Tips sheet, as well as some additional interview tips and strategies to ensure you are prepared and will sound your best during the interview.
Guess what? That’s exactly what you will be doing – having a friendly chat with your host. Practically all of our guests have said how enjoyable they found the interview. After the first few opening sentences and the initial nerves and butterflies disappeared, our guests have forgotten all about being recorded for the show.
Remember, it’s just you and your host speaking over a virtual tea (or coffee – if you are a coffee drinker).
At the end of the call you will be given the opportunity to draw the audiences’ attention to an upcoming program or product. You can also share the best way for people to get in contact with you. However during the interview we ask that you showcase your expertise (and boost your credibility) by sharing helpful, relevant tips.
We look forward to hearing from you.
