Emily is fully engaged in life as the founder of Pretty Strong Smart (a women’s empowerment initiative aimed at school age children), data visualization podcaster, co-leader of the DC Data+Women group, co-organizer of a data analytics workshop for teens.

Emily coaches people and organizations on leadership, resiliency, productivity, and career-planning. She founded the Tableau Fringe Festival, which is an online conference for data visualization with the Tableau software tool. Emily is a fitness competitor and is a mom of two awesome kids.
