- Financial reporting matters. Be sure to measure your Key Performance Indicators and have daily, weekly and monthly reporting, what I call “flash” reports.
- Be prepared to be successful, you need to be fully organized and prepared for success. Especially in the beginning or in the slow times always fine tune your processes and procedures, practice “Creative Destruction”, always strive to make things better, faster and more efficient.
- Make sure your people know that they have full authority to say “yes” to take care of your customers at all times.
