[Ep #104] Listen to the Holy Spirit and take action

Topic: Listen to the Holy Spirit and take action

Today’s guest says, “We live in a unique time in history where, thanks to the internet, individuals have more influence and reach than they’ve ever had before.”

Joining me today is Ashley Penny.

Ashley, a marketing strategist from North Carolina, is an avid traveler, con-nector, entrepreneur, and digital media enthusiast. She desires to see indi-viduals connected, inspired, and empowered on social media to fulfill their calling, shift culture, and lead revival in the digital age. In addition to her marketing business, she's also the founder of TravelherCo, a community of missions-minded travelers and entrepreneurs.

On today’s show Ashley is going to share:

  • Find your why. What’s the core motivation behind what you’re doing or building? It’s what you need to remember and cling to when circumstances are difficult or you feel that you’re lacking motivation and direction.
  • Always be learning. You’re never going to get to a place where you know it all. However, always be learning new things, growing, and challenging yourself to think from a different perspective than what you’re used to.
  • Listen to the Holy Spirit and take action. I think too many times we’re waiting on God to give us an “idiot proof” sign for what to do next. Take life season by season. You don’t have to have all of the answers.
