Topic: Pray on it and wait on it
Today’s guest says, “Lord that I never let my ego walk before me, but that I always walk behind you.”
Joining me today is Tara Geraghty.
Tara is a motivational speaker, business owner, and acclaimed domestic violence activist. In 2008, she found herself in the midst of a domestic violence divorce. Just when she thought she had hit rock bottom, she wound up in an emergency room with her only child and a high-risk stage four childhood cancer diagnosis. Tara took to heart the phrase: “God doesn't give you what you can handle; He gives you what you can't, so you have to rely on him.”
Utilizing her theater, personal development training and faith, Tara chose to rise above her circumstances to help her daughter face cancer with fun, finding gratitude in the process. Now, she teaches others this same powerful process, all while raising her Miracle Kid and personally practicing gratitude.
On today’s show Tara is going to share:
- Is our business ego and pride led or God led? God led will always mean doors open that we could never open on our own.
- Realize God already has your business planed out – he knows who the people are we need to connect with, the how, and the where etc– we just need to discern His plan.
- When we need to make business decisions we need to pray on it and wait on it. Trust God will show you when to move and when to stand still if we are patient and listen.
