Tanuja is a renowned Project Manager with over 25 years of experience working in the Engineering field that has earned her quite a reputation as a completions manager and a hard task-master having delivered projects with cumulative value in excess of A$10 Billion throughout her career.
In pursuit of a more sustainable lifestyle and to expand her envelope to embrace her other passions and skill-sets, she started her entrepreneurial journey within the food industry by becoming an olive oil producer.
Her business “The Sathya Olive Company” have a niche with their exotic range of infused olive oils, table olives and dukkah that are now sold through various WA Supermarket outlets such as Farmer Jacks, IGA Stores, The Herdsman, Spudshed and other gourmet outlets.

Tanuja Sanders is a Diamond Member of Business Women Australia and today we will be talking to her on the topic of “Opportunities from Setbacks“.
Tanuja Sanders is a renowned Project Manager with over 25 years of experience working in the Engineering field that has earned her quite a reputation as a completions manager and a hard task-master having delivered projects with cumulative value in excess of A$ 10 Billion throughout her career. She is a qualified engineer with Bachelors in Energy Engineering and Masters in Chemical Engineering specialising in Power Plants. She has worked in Australia and overseas as a Principal engineer on various power, mining and water infrastructure projects.
Having developed a flare for Project Management, she further qualified herself as a Graduate Certificate in Business Management and certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and works as a Project Manager through her own engineering consultancy (owned by both her and her husband) called “KT & Sai Associates Pty Ltd”.
One of the iconic projects Tanuja has worked as a Project Manager is the SA Water's Adelaide Desalination Project that has won the Best Project Delivery Award for major infrastructure projects in the world by both PMI and IPMA in the year 2013. In pursuit of a more sustainable lifestyle and to expand her envelope to embrace her other passions and skill-sets, she started her entrepreneurial journey within the food industry by becoming an olive oil producer.
