About Kathy:

Kathy has been a pioneer in the field of coaching in Australia. She is an innovator and entrepreneur who loves seeing others evolve. She has seen thousands of people change their lives through the coaching and training FIREUP conducts. She continues to be an active member of the International Coach Federation, currently as the Sunshine Coast Chapter Leader.

Kathy founded FIREUP Coaching which has evolved to becoming one of the leading Australian Registered Training Organization’s in the area of Accredited Leadership and Coach Training.

Kathy designed and developed FIREUP’s flagship programs, a Diploma of Leadership Coaching and Mentoring (10714NAT) and Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching (10547NAT).  She wrote the units of competency for the AQF Framework that aligned with the ICF core competencies, making these programs the most comprehensive and practical accredited coach training programs in Australia.

2020 saw the challenge of taking the FIREUP Programs all online and Kathy led her team to not only achieve their own programs being delivered online but also got approved for Skills Tasmania  funding to develop and deliver post covid recovery programs for 46 participants in Tasmania.   The students from Primary Employers Tasmania and Rural Youth Tasmania engaged in a 24 webinar Certificate IV in Leadership and Management to enable them to approach 2021 with new knowledge, skills and an expanded network. The course has exceeded expectations and set a benchmark for ongoing programs.

Kathy brings passion, energy, enthusiasm to every topic she presents and is experienced nationally and internationally. She is also a keen skier, cyclist and is living her dream having a house across from the beach.
